Farmers and businesses depending on illegal immigrants to fill low-wage jobs are banging against a brick wall in Congress as they push for a temporary worker program.

Illegal hirings
Perhaps you should look into the vast amount of "illegal" laborers being used in the Federal Prison System. These inmates, if out in the public, fall under the "no hire" format of the law. Yet in flagrant disregard for the law the Fed prison system encourages UNICOR, the Fed prison system work contractor, to hire illegals to work in such jobs as repairing military vehicles, making other military equipment etc. If honest business-men can't use this labor force, why is our own government allowed to? This doesn't pass the smell test.
