House drops ANWR from budget
While I vigorously support the ban on drilling in ANWR and near coastal waters, I have to object to the picture shown on the AOL version of the article. Looks like the Brooks Range to me....which is very misleading. The area shown is probably over a 100 miles from ANWR. Why not show a photo of the actual reserve? Just because it is flat tundra that Sen. Stevens considers "wasteland" doesn't mean it isn't worth saving. This is why informed people are getting disgusted with reporting which seems to always have "an angle". Don't show a picture of something which is not representative of the subject being discussed!
