professional ethics

One wonders what happend to those highly dedicatd to serve the patients with health concerns?

After some 30 years of rewarding practice I feel that my goal has not changed since I entered a medical school "to serve my patients by helping them in alleviating pain and suferring and restoring them to normal functioning". I am surprised that cancer survivors do not get care they need. Perhaps we need be reminded by "Dr. heal thyself" as someone once said.
