| Microsoft Corp. is diving into the business of offering online searches of books and other writings, and says its approach aims to avoid the legal tussles met by rival Google Inc.

New Technology?
Apple's Spotlight very quickly finds text in any document, any type. It categorizes it and searches can be saved. Then if you don't want to 'run' that search regularly, you define that search as a virtual folder, and what you're looking for is already there. Again, is this groundbreaking, Microsoft???Ralph
