| Three dates serve as the rallying cry for energy officials, whose voices are largely lost in the water-borne core of the debate over Broadwater Energy's proposal for an LNG terminal in Long Island Sound.
Jan. 14, 15 and 16, 2004, were cold. Extremely cold. So cold that the gas pipelines in New England were pretty much at capacity trying to keep the heat on and juice flowing from the region's gas-fired power plants.
