Sen. Chuck Hagel said Wednesday that he intends to reach out to the White House in a second Bush administration despite any hard feelings lingering there from his outspoken comments about the war in Iraq.
At the same time, the Nebraska Republican has made no decision on seeking the presidency himself in 2008, though he knows that the starting gun was unofficially fired by Bush's victory.
