Thompson edges Terry in spending view story

| Lee Terry raised more money but spent less than his Democratic challenger, Nancy Thompson, for the 2nd District House seat in Nebraska.
Terry, the incumbent and a Republican, raised $262,000 in July, August and September and spent about $328,000. Thompson raised $175,600 but spent $392,500, according to a new campaign finance report.
